A fresh start full of energy: Ukrainian students are discovering the path to the future in Prague.

Our classrooms have been lively since July! The new preparatory course for Ukrainian students is running at full capacity and brings language skills, self-confidence and inspiration to life.

In July 2025, we were happy to open the door to another year of the preparatory course for Ukrainian students aged 15-19 – and from day one you can feel the enthusiasm, curiosity and desire to learn! Dozens of young people come to our new premises at the Kolbenova metro every morning, who are determined to start intensive teaching of the Czech language, discover Czech realities and gradually gain the confidence that their educational journey can continue in the new country.

The program stands on five fixed pillars, which complement each other and form a harmonious whole.

    • Language preparation: Students practice speaking, listening and reading so that they can confidently enter high school or college.
    • branch Czech: He introduces them to academic subjects and professional terminology.

    • Preparing for exams: The third pillar is the preparation for entrance exams and orientation in the Czech education system, so that everyone knows how to open the way to their dream field.

    • Sociocultural competence: Students learn to understand the Czech environment, its habits and rules, and thus naturally integrate themselves into society.

    • Psychosocial Support: Experts help young people manage stress, strengthen their resilience and promote mental well-being, without which no academic or personal growth would be possible.

And it doesn’t end there! The course is full of excursions, workshops and meetings with inspiring people. Thus, students experience Czech not only in the classroom, but also in practice – during visits to institutions, cultural events or during joint projects. Every day brings them a new experience and takes them one step further.

An important partner of the project is City Hall of Prague, whose support plays an absolutely essential role. Thanks to her, this year the program was able to open for approximately 120 students, who thus get a chance not only to improve their language skills, but also to find a solid background for their further personal and academic development in Prague.

The results are not waiting for each other: young people quickly gain self-confidence, their Czech language improves by leaps and bounds, and they happily accept new challenges.

Therefore, our courses are not only about studying. They are about support, discovery and making everyone feel welcome. They are about the belief that in the Czech Republic students can find not only their second home, but also solid foundations for the future, which are worth looking forward to.
