On 5 October 2023, a meeting of young Ukrainian refugees with representatives of UNICEF and the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Prague City Hall took place at our Institute of Foreign Languages. The meeting was attended by Mr. Scott Lang from the US Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (US BPRM) and Valerie Reedová, Political Secretary of the US Embassy in the Czech Republic. The aim of these preparatory classes is to help children pass the entrance exams and to get support in their integration into high schools in the capital. The program is supported by the Prague City Hall in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF.
