On November 13, 2025, freshmen students attended a special career workshop titled “How to Choose Your Career Path.” It was one of those events that can truly change your perspective on the future.
In mid-October, we participated in the two-day STRONG program – Supporting the Mental Health of Children and Adolescents. The training took place on October 13 and 20, 2025 and was focused on children and young people who come to a new country and learn to cope not only with a new language, but also with completely new living conditions.

A new preparatory course in Prague for Ukrainian students (15–19 years old) is in full swing. It offers intensive Czech language lessons, exam preparation, and psychosocial support to help young people find confidence and a path to further education in the Czech Republic.
An important meeting took place in our institute with representatives of the City Hall. City of Prague, organizations OPU and SOFA. Together we discussed how to best support the education, integration and psychosocial well-being of young people who attend our Czech language courses.
At the end of September 2025, two classes, a total of twenty-six students with teachers, set off on a journey of discovery into the world of modern technologies. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. we had the unique opportunity to visit HW LAB – an open workshop in the capital city of Prague, a place where creativity, learning and innovation come together.
Beginners often don’t get the job, not because they lack experience or confidence in their knowledge of Czech, but because they fail to convey one important thought in their CV: “I can handle this job even without experience.” Czech employers primarily look for your ability to integrate into the work environment and learn quickly.
