The course includes practical use of the language in everyday situations such as shopping, using public transport and interacting on campus. A preparatory course in Czech for university entrance exams helps students to use the language confidently in real life.
Group and individual lessons:
Teachers consider the group and individual needs of students and create an environment in which students can ask questions and actively participate in the class. The A2 to B2 Czech course offers both group and individual tuition.
Professional and academic preparation:
The course also includes preparation for the academic and professional use of the language that is essential for successful study at university, including writing academic papers, preparing presentations and attending seminars. This programme makes studying in the Czech Republic accessible to foreigners.

Our advanced Czech course for B1 and B2 level is designed for those who already know the basics of the language and want to improve at a higher level.
Language competence:
At B1 level, students already know intermediate grammatical structures and vocabulary. Level B2 provides further development of language skills, including more complex sentence structures and extended vocabulary.
A deeper understanding of Czech culture:
At B1 level, students are introduced to more complex aspects of Czech culture, history and society, enabling them to gain a broader understanding of life in the Czech Republic.
Practical situations and conversations:
Students focus on communication in more complex situations such as work meetings, discussions on abstract topics and negotiations.
Sentence structure and expressive possibilities:
At B2 level, students learn more sophisticated ways of expressing themselves and improve their sentence structure, which allows them to better articulate their ideas.
Reading and writing at a more advanced level:
The course covers reading and writing more complex texts, including literary works and professional materials, so that students strengthen their skills in understanding and producing complex texts.
Preparation for certification exams:
Students prepare for B2 level certification exams that may be relevant to their academic or professional careers.
Discussion of cultural and social topics:
The course encourages discussion of current events, cultural topics and social issues to give students a broad understanding of Czech society.
Projects and practical exams:
Students participate in projects and practical exams that reinforce their practical skills and allow them to apply their knowledge in real life.
The aim of this course is to offer students challenging tasks and to increase their language competences to prepare them for studying at Czech universities.

online course - Programming for self-study for Slavic speaking students 60 x 45 min.
The lecturers of the course are exclusively CTU teachers.
- Mathematics for secondary schools – 50 x 45 minutes,
- Czech for future economists – 50 x 45 min,
- English for future economists – 50 x 45 min,
- Preparation for the SCIO OSP test (general study prerequisites) – 50 x 45 min,
- Fundamentals of Sociology and History – 50 x 45 min,
- Academic English from B1 level upwards – 50 x 45 min.
The price of each course is: 8 500 CZK
These courses can be ordered in person after consultation with the manager.
