Program for employers
Practical Czech language for real-life work situations
We will tailor the content, structure and schedule to the language proficiency of the employees and the company’s operations.
Target audience
- employment of at least 10 hours per week
- the employment contract lasts at least 3 months after the course
- cannot be classified as a part-time contract (DPP) or a contract for specific work (DPČ)
- options for age groups up to 50 and 50+
The skills employees will learn
- Communication at work
- Understanding instructions and internal rules
- Dealing with authorities, healthcare providers and service providers
- The basics of health and safety at work and everyday situations
Conditions for the grant
- the application is submitted by the employer to the Czech Labour Office
- the grant is paid retrospectively once the conditions have been met
- it is also possible to apply for a grant towards wage costs
- approval is subject to the current rules of the Czech Labour Office
ACCREDITED LANGUAGE COURSES
Czech Language for Foreigners
ICJ runs accredited retraining courses under Ministry of Education accreditation ref. no. MSMT-4362/2026-4.
Programme variants

Czech for Work – M1
- 65 academic hours of lessons
- 4 academic hours of final assessment
- 51.75 hours (60 minutes each)
- maximum of 15 participants*
Czech for Work – M2
- 125 academic hours of teaching
- 4 academic hours of final assessment
- 96.75 hours (60 minutes each)
- maximum of 15 participants*

Submit the application
Your employer submits the application through the Czech Labour Office portal.
Start the course
Once the application is approved and the agreement comes into effect.
We take care of everything
We manage the lessons, attendance and progress assessment.
Receive the documentation
We’ll provide the certificate and all final documents.

The employer submits the application directly to the Czech Labour Office. ICJ acts as an external training provider and prepares the relevant documentation.
Only once the application has been approved and the agreement with the Czech Labour Office has come into effect.

Yes. We will tailor the dates to suit the company’s operations, but always on working days between 6.00 and 22.00.
