Description
About the Program and the Instructor
This program is designed for all who love exciting games and want to experience English in action. We believe the best way to get comfortable with a foreign language is to become part of a story. Children will dive into the team strategic game Space Knights, where English becomes a natural tool for planning, cooperation, and solving unexpected challenges. During thrilling moments, shyness disappears and the language becomes the key to victory.
The program will be led by instructor Sebastian (Seb), who specializes in teaching English through complex games. His approach is based on the belief that by implementing team strategy and experiencing epic game moments, children acquire language naturally and effortlessly. He creates an environment where communication is both necessary and fun.
Age Categories
6–15 years (the program is adapted and divided into groups; the main strategic game is primarily aimed at older children aged 9–15 years)
Location
ICJ Campus, Kolbenova, Prague (the program also includes themed excursions around Prague)
Program
The whole week is designed as one big mission in the Space Knights game universe, where each day is dedicated to a different phase of the adventure.
Sample Weekly Structure:
•Monday: Assemble the Crew (Welcome to Adventure!)
We get to know each other, divide roles in our space team through games, and learn key phrases for survival in space.
•Tuesday: Mission Planning (My World)
As a team, we plan our strategy. We describe our “home planets,” create a galaxy map, and prepare for upcoming challenges.
•Wednesday: Journey through Space (Around the City)
We embark on the first part of our mission. We complete tasks, trade resources, and explore unknown places as proper space tourists.
•Thursday: Unexpected Challenge (Time Travelers)
A twist occurs! Our crew faces an unexpected event. Using English and teamwork, we must solve the problem and save the mission.
•Friday: Victory and Celebration (Graduation + Language Festival)
We successfully complete the mission! A big language festival awaits us, where we present our achievements, followed by a ceremonial diploma awarding.
Important Information
•Price: 2,500 CZK / week / child.
•The price includes: English instruction, all teaching materials, program activities, trips, supervision by coordinators, and drinks.
•The price does not include: Meals and public transport tickets.
•Meals: It is possible to purchase lunches for 1,000 CZK / week (payment in cash on-site). We recommend packing two small snacks for your child each day.
•Schedule: The program runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can drop off your children starting at 8:30 AM and pick them up by 5:30 PM.
•Language: The entire program is conducted in English. The level is adapted to the children, and a Czech and Ukrainian-speaking coordinator is available if needed.
