Technology at your fingertips – student excursion to the HW LAB

At the end of September 2025, two classes, a total of twenty-six students with teachers, set off on a journey of discovery into the world of modern technologies. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. we had the unique opportunity to visit HW LAB – an open workshop in the capital city of Prague, a place where creativity, learning and innovation come together.

Opening of the ICJ Branch in Brno: First Students, First Success!

We are pleased to announce that in January 2025, a new branch of the Institute of Foreign Languages was opened in Brno! And already on January 27, we welcomed our first students who spent three weeks intensively learning the Czech language.

Intensive A1 Course: 3 Weeks of Productive Learning

From January 27 to February 18, our students engaged in daily studies, immersing themselves in the Czech language. During this short but intense period, they completed the full A1 level, covered key grammar topics, significantly expanded their vocabulary, and learned to apply their newly acquired knowledge in practice, confidently stepping towards the next stage of language learning.

What did students like?
• Intensity: Daily lessons helped quickly grasp the material and reinforce knowledge.
• Teaching: Students appreciated the professionalism and unconventional approach of the instructor. Thanks to the use of associations, learning became more visual and memorable. The lecturer explained how learning one word could help memorize an entire set of related words and recommended useful online tools for self-practice, such as checking the correct use of grammatical cases.
• Effectiveness: Over three weeks, students observed their daily progress, saw real results, and gained confidence in their knowledge.

Tips from our students:
Many course participants shared that it is best to start learning a language as early as possible – the sooner you start, the faster you see results.
However, it is crucial to learn Czech with a teacher who provides a structured approach and guides you in the right direction.
Self-study is a long and unreliable path that often leads to knowledge gaps and loss of motivation.

Courses supported by the Labor Office
These courses were implemented with the support of the Labor Office. Students took advantage of the opportunity to attend courses for free and have already achieved their first results.
We are proud of the first graduates of the ICJ branch in Brno and look forward to welcoming new students to our courses! Do you want to learn Czech just as quickly and effectively? Join us!

Registration for courses is open!
