An important meeting took place in our institute with representatives of the City Hall. City of Prague, organizations OPU and SOFA. Together we discussed how to best support the education, integration and psychosocial well-being of young people who attend our Czech language courses.
Main points of action:
the beginning of the school year
About 119 students are involved in the teaching. Parents and students were introduced to the schedule, rules and forms of evaluation. At the end of October 2025, there will be a repeated meeting with the presentation of the first academic results and observation of the students' behavior.
psychosocial support
We continue our cooperation with psychologists and the AMIGA organization. From September 23, 2025, students will have an entertaining and educational meeting with MAJDAN CZ NUSLE. Strong trainings are prepared for teachers and social workers on October 13 and 20, 2025. Trauma-informed approach training and further support for working with traumatized children are also underway.
Social work and integration
Řešíme konkrétní případy studentů v obtížné životní situaci. U jedné studentky, která 1. listopadu 2025 dosáhne plnoletosti, hledáme aktivně řešení v oblasti bydlení, dalšího studia a sociální podpory. Současně je jí zajišťována zdravotní péče a konzultace ohledně dědického řízení.
Sofa Support
Od ledna 2026 plánujeme rozšíření spolupráce o programy zaměřené na prevenci sociální izolace.
Crisis housing and labor law
OPU offered the possibility of crisis accommodation in a halfway house. At the beginning of November 2025, a series of labor law workshops will take place in the Czech Republic, which will help students better navigate the labor market.
coordination and cooperation
V jednání je termín společného setkání všech institucí, které realizují program „Nulté ročníky“. Dne 27. listopadu 2025 od 13:00 do 14:30 se ICJ představí na programu Schola Pragensis. Studenti také navštíví vzdělávací centrum HW Lab Praha, kde se seznámí s moderními technologiemi, jako je 3D tisk, virtuální realita či IoT. V prosinci 2025 plánujeme vánoční setkání všech realizátorů „Nultého ročníku“ spojené s vystoupením studentů – zvažujeme prostory Městské knihovny nebo Národního muzea.
