Children’s Summer Program: Language Adventure

We believe that a love for language isn’t born in a classroom, but on an adventure. Our mission is to show children that English is fun and to give them the confidence to use it. That’s why we turn every day into an interactive playground where language becomes a natural tool for games, creativity, and discovery.

This adventure will be led by Alona Surzhyk, a dynamic and experienced instructor with over 13 years of practice from Ukraine, Turkey, Spain, and the Czech Republic. Her approach is based on interactive methods that naturally draw children into the language. Alona enthusiastically adapts activities so that every child can experience success, lose their shyness, and build a lifelong positive relationship with English. Thanks to her experience and Ph.D. in pedagogy, you can be sure your child is in the best hands.

6–15 years (the program is adapted and divided into groups: 6–8 years, 9–12 years, and 13–15 years)

ICJ Campus, Kolbenova, Prague (the program also includes themed excursions around Prague)

The program is designed for children to use the language in real-life situations and have fun. We learn through experience, not just about the language.

•8:30–9:00: Morning warm-up and a language game to get started

•9:00–10:30: First thematic block (language combined with creative activities)

•10:30–11:00: Snack and free play

•11:00–12:30: Second thematic block (team projects and roleplay)

•12:30–13:30: Lunch and rest

•13:30–15:00: Afternoon outdoor activity or drama session

•15:00–15:15: Snack

•15:15–16:30: Language games and a summary of the day

•Day 1 – Welcome to Adventure! We’ll get to know each other through games and learn basic phrases.

•Day 2 – My World: We will talk about family and home, and create our dream house.

•Day 3 – Around the City: We’ll build a model of a city and role-play as tourists and merchants.

•Day 4 – Time Travelers: We’ll travel back in time in costumes and perform a short play.

•Day 5 – Culture Day: A dance workshop and a tasting of specialties await us.

•Price: 2,500 CZK / week / child.

•The price includes: English instruction, all teaching materials, program activities, trips, supervision by coordinators, and drinks.

•The price does not include: Meals and public transport tickets.

                 •Meals: It is possible to purchase lunches for 1,000 CZK / week (payment in cash on-site). We recommend packing two small snacks for your child each day.

•Schedule: The program runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can drop off your children starting at 8:30 AM and pick them up by 5:30 PM.

•Language: The entire program is conducted in English. The level is adapted to the children, and a Czech and Ukrainian-speaking coordinator is available if needed.
